Green Street Rescue

I adopted a cat from GSR and had been fostering another one when I realized that this not for profit organization's website was riddled with PHP errors. I asked the founder of GSR if she was happy with her current developer or if I could take a stab. Apparently, the old website had been done by a cut and paste animal website creating company and she hated it. My background has been in proprietary languages and I wanted to learn more.

Medicare Plan Finder

My current full time position has me working on most applications under the medicare.gov umbrella. I've been working with the wonderful folks of the MPF team for 2 years now and am enjoying the new directions we're goiong with more open source technologies.

My friend Mike, co-founder of Main Street MMA aseked me to build them a website. It was a neat project because I got to work in a genre I knew nothing about. I went with a darker theme because it looks a bit tougher.

Campus Chef

I started Campus Chef in 2007 when I realized that a lot of "dorm safe" appliances could be repurposed. Back then, it was just a blog detailing things like using a coffee maker as a pasta boiler. Through the years I lost interest and came back and lost interest and came back... and so on. In early 2013, I revamped the whole thing and began creating a forum where everyone can share ideas. Since my employer had us using ColdFusion, I used it too. With the forum, you can creat recipes, rate others, comment on others and create your own profile. I also created an admin section so moderators can edit users and posts.
